Was over looking for updates for Neal, Little and others and came arcoss this:

With a Super Bowl ring newly snug on his finger, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher has little reason to leave Pittsburgh.

But he and his family appear to be planning for a future in Raleigh.

Cowher hasn't tried in any of his press conferences to hush any of the rumors of him leaving the Steelers for NC or NC St.. I sorta get the feeling he already has one foot out the door in Pittsburgh (Cowher's contract is up at season's end and it's a team role that contract talks are put on hold during the season). It's so frustrating to watch your team win a Super Bowl and then "crap the bed" the next season. I'll be rooting against my Steelers so they can get a nice draft pick (Hopefully Michael Bush) :stickoutt

I think Ken Wisenhunt (Steelers offensive cordinator) will likely be the first man interviewed if Cowher doesn't return next season. I assume that was why Wisenhunt turned down the Raiders job last year.

Or NC State? Amato won't be far behind Bunting and John L.

But I don't think either will happen. I think it is more likely that he will take an NFL front office job. He's a very good coach but what he is very good at is finding talent. The Steelers are about as consistent at drafting good talent as anyone in the NFL. Cowher has a lot to do with that.

He won't leave the 'Burgh on a losing note either. If the Steelers don't make the playoffs I think he would come back for at least another year.

I think Cowher is just using this as leverage to get a new big contract at the end of the season.
