Johnny Winter Dies in the Alps

Edit : Pardon me if this is a repeat thread. I had a pretty rough late July and missed a lot. But this shocked and saddened me.

Johnny was an inspiration and a breath of fresh air. When other artists all too often were copying each other to make a living, Johnny was letting his originality fly.

Johnny Winter was an amazing guitar. I was sad when it was announced he had passed away. I really love his work with Rick Derringer.

Great guitarists, I hope he rests in peace.


I always found it ironic that an albino had the last name Winter. His fame was a birthright, I suppose.
