If that holds true, Brady better get some outf'nstanding insurance coverage, life and health. If he thought his first two years at ND were rough, he's in for a real beating if he goes to Oakland.

Brady's only hope is that the Raiders pull a "Raiders". Maybe the could trade that pick for 2 older guys with bad attitudes since Moss & Sapp want to leave town and the Raiders have a quota to uphold.

Either that or he pulls an Eli Manning.

Here's to hoping the Raiders win some games...... a lot of games.....before the draft.

Everyone wants Brady to be picked #1, but the mere thought Oakland is sickening.

Its a tad comical that people in Ohio would speak so negatively about the Raiders. I guess Brady would be much better off in Cleveland or Cincinatti. :puke:

I'm just messing with you guys. But still, Oakland would be a good fit for the Raiders. They need a QB to build around before they can get the pieces together. I does not appear as though Walters will get it done. Granted, there is no offensive line. It might be the case that the Raiders trade the pick.

However, it might be the case that the Raiders see potential in Walters and therefore decide to draft a RB, since we are sorely lacking a running game. I therefore think that the Raiders would draft Adrian Peterson first.

Being that I despise the USC bandwagon, I hope BQ is drafted #1, just because we are tied with USC for the most #1 picks. But I don't doubt that even if the Raiders draft him #1, that he might be traded to the team that drafts Adrian Peterson for AP and maybe an O-lineman.

Although BQ has done well this year with an ineffective O-Line and no running game. Which is the exact same system we run in Oakland, where there is no O-line or running game.

And while the Raiders might be leaving town, they would only be moving 15 miles down the road to Fremont.

Cincy's not bad, but, as everyone knows, they havn't any need for a QB. I don't want Brady in Cleveland. Yes, I'm a Browns fan, but I'm looking for the exit, and if it's Oakland, I'd rather just drown in the shit-vat that is Cleveland.

Hey, the Bungles left town four years ago when Marvin arrived.

Which team would you rather have right now?

Easy guy. LMAO. I wouldn't mind Brady coming to the Brownies. Since Charlie won't be there to take care of Brady, Romeo (maybe) will be. He'll be in good hands there.

You think Cleveland is a shit vat? You gotta get a load of Pittsburgh. Sweet God Almighty. A shit vat would even say, "Oh my God, what a hole."

I know what you're saying though. I spent most of my life a in Cleveland and a fan of all teams. Not much to boast about is there other than a couple of "almosts".

Damn, I didn't realize what I was going to start here. Exactly how many people from Ohio are on these boards?

Yes, I would rather have Cincy now. But, its only a matter of time before the Raiders get better. What if the question between Oakland and Cincy had been posed 5 years ago, which team would have been picked then?

But regardless, Brady would be a better fit in Oakland than in Cleveland. Oakland is more likely to attract top receivers than Cleveland is. The only reason our receivers are not happy is because Brooks, Tui, nor Walters can get them the ball on a consistent basis. Brady can. He already has the experience of working with a shaky O-line, and the lack of a great running game.

But, like I mentioned before. I still see the Raiders wanting Peterson. While Oakland has had some good Qbs abd WRs go through here, we have not had a strong RB in quite some time.

judging by the looks of things out in Oakland, I think they should concentrate on getting some hog mollies on the O-line. They are pathetic. A QB, forget about it, with Stoops as their coach, they are doomed. As a Bears fan that guy was lucky to make it out of Chicago in one piece, what a hunk of shit that guy is.

Early on, Buffalo seemed like it had a great shot. I would still prefer that they got Brady.. Buffalo just seems like a team that's easy to sympathize with.

As much as I love the Raiders, I would not be surprised if they went 0-16. This is probably the worst NFL team that I have ever seen.

It's time to rebuild, and if you have the opportunity to begin building with a great QB, that is what you do. So I can't see the Raiders climbing out of the cellar. At least Phoenix has shown that they can hang with teams, and it is only a matter of time before Leinart can begin to pull out the close games.

The game between Oakland and Phoenix this weekend will probably be for the #1 pick.

Buffalo likes Losman. Cleveland likes Frye. Oakland, if they take Peterson, will prove why they're Oakland- a team with no QB, no leadership, taking an injury-prone tail back instead of a QB who'll be there for 15 years. As for O-line, Oakland's is bad but they took Gallery not too long ago. It looks bad to keep taking first round picks at the same position. Ask Detroit. It's a bad sign.

Miami is a possible destination for Brady, but are they bad enough to get him? As it lines up now few of the worst teams are really in a position to draft BQ. Green Bay has Rodgers, and they don't know how good he is yet (mostly due to Favre's ego). Arizona has Leinart. Detroit looks like a distinct possibility, which is unfortunate- for Brady. I've seen him face Michigan and OSU with an overmatched offensive unit, and seeing the Bears twice a year might not be so good for him. There are several mid-level teams who need QBs badly and could trade up to try for one. Minnesota, KC, Baltimore (whatever they say about McNair, he's about done).

Al Davis doesnt draft QB's this high, he goes and gets vets with experience...I think Brady goes to either Tampa, Detroit, or possibly Cleveland

I think Browns fans and the coaching staff for that matter, are pretending to "like" Charlie Frye. But in reality, he is an untalented nobody......and he will never make a name for himself. Being an "average" NFL QB doesn't promote 'likability'.

Detroit wouldn't be that bad of place to go with Martz as OC. The problem is Matt Millen is a dufus that is in way over his head. He crushed the franchise. But BQ can't go to the Lions because there is a little known provision of NFL by-laws that requires Detroit to select a WR with its first pick.

man....i wish the entire Notre Dame senior class replaced the Pats. i know they dont realy need any replacing, but boy would i feel more intrigued to watch if a former ND qb was on the team then when a scUM qb is on the team

Best fit for Brady would be Tampa. Raiders suck, but lets not forget they were in the Super Bowl a few years ago.

I'm really hoping my Bills get him, Losman is putrid, and we long for the days of Jim Kelly. Quinn kinda reminds me of Kelly with his linebacker body.
