I am sticking with that 10-2 projection. I don't think they can go into Los Angeles and come out with a win.

10-2 means no shot at getting in the BCS Title Game. However, 10-2 means a BCS appearance. Even though the BCS isn't that old, how many coaches can say they played in BCS games in their first two years at a school? CW is the man

if washington can almost win against them. i think that we have a great shot. personally, i think cal is going to kill them. so they may have a loss by then. i sort've hope that they do so ticket prices go down a bit for the game.

We really have almost no shot at that anyway... Honestly, just look who is above us right now:

OSU
Florida
USC
UM
WVU
Texas
Louisville
Tennessee

OSU and UM will meet, undefeated. If the game is close BOTH teams will be ranked above us.

Florida might get knocked off, but has the serious potential to run the table. USC will get knocked off by Cal most likely. WVU or Louisville will NOT lose. Tennessee could well win out.

So our chances of getting to the NC game are minimal. However, a BCS is NEARLY guaranteed. Which speaks volumes to Weis' ability to get this team to win with little to no depth.

Fully agree...Cal is going to wipe the floor with them. not because Cal is really good, but because Cal HATES SC...and they have a big chip on their shoulder. They are really going to tear SC up.
