And they are like watching re-runs on television, pretty much.
But I do have one complaint for Coach Vaas. Although I have no business complaining about a man with his resume.
Why can't the receivers catch balls from the team's quaterbacks?
Granted, maybe they do later on in practice, that we don't see. Which would completely negate this criticism.
However, aside from the receiver cone drills that we often see, I don't understand why the quarterbacks aren't throwing balls to the receivers running short out and in routes.
Hell, we got four of 'em.
It seems to me it would benefit eveyone involved.
Of all the NFL practices that I've ever been to, both preseason and in-season, it's the quarterbacks themselves that throw the balls to receivers. Not the quarterback's coach or the receiver's coach, but the quarterbacks.
Just seems strange to me.
