I'm headed up to the game this weekend with me son. Anyone else going to watch the Irish win Sat? The weather is going to be nice. Partly cloudy with the temps about 73.
Great time to walk the campus, taking it all in.

I will be there as well. Not thrilled about the pep rally arrangements.

From und.com:

With the Notre Dame-Marquette volleyball game beginning at 4:00 p.m. EDT Friday in the arena, combination tickets good for admission to both volleyball and the rally will be distributed beginning at 3:00 p.m. EDT at Gate 10 of the Joyce Center. Spectators receiving tickets from 3:00-4:45 p.m. must immediately proceed through the turnstiles and into the arena (they will not be permitted to pick up tickets and leave).

If any tickets remain, they will be distributed beginning at 5:00 p.m. EDT Friday at the tickets windows on the east side of Notre Dame Stadium (across Juniper Road from the Joyce Center).

I guess I can buy(?) a volleyball/pep rally ticket walk into the arena then walk out but that kinda sucks. I might be skipping that this year.

I will be there with my wife and two kids. I am coming from Bristol Va which is about 8 to 9 hour drive. Well worth the drive for an Irish victory.

Where does everyone plan on grubbing at before or after the game?

I'm taking my dad.

I think we'll catch breakfast early before we leave town, then we usually eat lunch somewhere on campus. We usually grab a dog or burger from one of those stands on campus that the students run.

A bookstore trip will be on the agenda I'm sure, and with some recent "extra" purchases and a new car payment, I might just go lay in a quad somewhere under a tree and resist.

Well since our routine is always predetermined...we always grab lunch from one of the colleges near the student center before the band plays at Bond Hall and after the game we always eat at Barnaby's.

Anyone know what time the team usually walks from the Basilica to the stadium?

Enjoy guys. What a great time of year to be on campus.
If the leaves are changing, someone please take some pictures and share.
I'd love to see them. Would bring back some great memories.
I'm green with envy.....IrishEnvy that is.

It really depends on the start time of the game...most of the time we plan our "gameplan" to be around that area in a general time frame...for a 1:30 start it is usually around 11 for a 2:30 its more around 12ish....it really depends and as I haven't been up for a game yet this year it may be switched around a little bit. I will for sure take lots of pictures and video on campus.

I feel the real meaning of envy right about now. Just reading the talk of actually going to a game is awesome. I can almost see the leaves changing as I write! I pray for the day I do make the trip...Good health to you all!

I plan on taking my DSLR, so I hope to get in quite a few pictures. I will definitely share them with everyone when I return.

According to the timestamp on my pics I took at the PSU game (3:30 start), the team went into Mass around 11:30. Think they came out about 45mins later.

Good deal. Thanks guys.

We're in section 23, the SW corner of the stadium. About the exact opposite of where we were last year for the SC game.

sec 117 row 26 - "I must be in the front row". Not bad for the absolute last row in the stadium. For starters I had a backrest and from my view it was like watching 11 on 11 coaches game tape.
