i was thinking the same thing Getty, but was tentative to put that down, because i didn't want to be called Mr Negative again by a couple people. D better come to play today. I like how CW was getting the guys pumped up by making those comments during practice this week that they were showing on Gameday this AM. Saw 3 writers on Blue and Gold picked Mich also, so we aren't alone in our worries. Gonna be a classic game either way today.

You might make the argument that it's better just to pile up at the of scrimmage just to stop Hart. Even though our recievers are fast, Henne might be bad enough not to get the ball to them, even if they're wide open.

Getty has a legitimate concern. The ND front four isn't going to be confused with the Steel Curtain anytime soon. Some might argue that it was by design given that GT and PSU had dynamic wideouts that posed a greater threat than the RBs. If that's the argument, I'm not buying it. ND front four has underperformed. They need to make their presence felt today.

I'm sure CW has planned on focusing on the run but still don't feel great about them being able to stop Hart. Not that he's Barry Sanders reincarnated (especially since BS isn't dead), but I think he's a very good running back and can easily pile up the yards. Throw in how much time that eats off the clock and it limits ND's opportunities on offense.
