Nice.Yeah, how's Charlie gonna see JoePA run up the white flag at halftime?
My buddy got into a fight with nearly everyone sitting behind last year becuase we were standing in the 4th quarter of the MSU game. I'm all for showing respect to those who sit around me but we just made an improbable comeback and standing to cheer on the defense is just part of it. That really pisses me off, if you don't want to stand and cheer, watch it from your couch at home. And I don't care if you are a '62 alum and you have had hip replacement surgery, I take great pride in being the 12th man and if you can't take it then go home and collect your social security and watch reruns of the Golden Girls...
I hate when that happens, I was at a Knick game last season and the same thing happened to me, two Wall Sreet types asked me to sit down,I just ignored them and continued to stand. Some people really shouldn't attend games if they don't feel like standing up every now and then....
It turned out not to be too bad. It looks like a lot of those people wearing white were actual Notre Dame fans. C'mon people, UNITY. The shirt costs a whole $15.
Didn't happen......there was a good bit of white in the east (?) end zone but I assumed that was the school's allocation. The rest were scattered about. Crowd was very good I thought. Made alot of noise when PSU had the ball.I'm sure when you flash back to the sea of Nebraska red shirts, you want to throw up. Well, this year I believe Penn State has decided to attempt to "white out" the game with Notre Dame. I have a feeling that this could be very similar to the Nebraska game.
Anyone else a bit disturbed at this possibility?
Watch it there SoCal....PA represented today for ND very nicely I'll have you know.If your worried about selling tickets to a "closet" PSU fan...............then simply ask to see their drivers license...............problem solved!; ( yeah I know there some ND fans from there).
I wore a white Bettis jersey....saw alot of white Montana jerseys and then there were also a fair amount of current white jerseys. Did seem like the only people that really got into the towels were the students. A couple people around me got to their seats right before kickoff and didn't get a towel. All must have been distributed by then. Guess some fans talked their way into more than one....and I did see quite a few PSU fans with towels. From a student's perspective...lots of white shirts, although they were not very loud at all. I'm not sure if some of these whites were ND fans ( because I saw a decent amount of ND fans with white jerzeys on) or if there were just no reasons for PSU fans to cheer. Either way, the green towels were a hit in the student section and I hope the tradition sticks.
I thought it was pretty awesomeGod, that had to be a terrible car ride home.
I thought it was pretty awesome![]()
Or put a ND flag in his right handNow would be a good time for you to hang a "Go Irish" sign around Fr. Corby's neck on the battlefield.
