i know its early but it looks like the te spot is very important and carlson should get a lot of chances and he seems to be able to catch all types of balls wanted to know what you guys think

if he has that kind of game every week than hell yes he will break it. Ilike the fact that he stretchs the feild you can no longer just double up our wr because of the TE and because of D Walker out of the backfield he might not run for 200 yards but he hurt you with the receptions like Faulk

Wayyyyy to early to start speculating about that stuff. Also, I just want to say statistics in football are vastly overrated by many fans. Out of the major sports, it is in baseball that stats are the most important. For those who know or agree with that, sorry for pointing it out.

Furthermore, if Carlson does keep up his good play, eventually other teams will game plan for him. Stats then go down, but opens up opportunities for others, which is real good. Plus, I think Freeman will get more and more opportunities as the season progresses.

Carlson had a good game. I hope he keeps it up.

# of catches 54, yards 797, TDs 6

Without bonafide #3 WR (Grimes injured) and #4 WR, the TEs should get more catches. But there a plethora of TEs targets.

Carlson had a career game. Could it happen again, yes. Will it happen 7 or 8 times, no. Other WR will grow into the rotation and as noted above defenses will take note of him.

His best shot at the record books is 6 TD passes.
