You don't know that. You are basing it on "reports". As ulunkinatme pointed out, those same "reports" said that Hendrix, and the Inside Linebackers, were going to be solid this year.

I'm close with Zaire's high school football coach, actually the entire family. Zaire's a stud, but being a lefty completely changes the game. If and when Zaire gets the keys to the offense they are his and only his. Expect to see him in 2015. No sooner, unless injury or blah blah blah.

I'm not bashing the kid at all. I'm just saying that none of us really knows how well he is doing at practice, or how well he would perform in an actual game. So there's no way anyone can say that putting him in, now, would be an upgrade over Rees.

Oh no, I didn't take it like that all. I was in a way agreeing with you. I think sometimes people forget how being a lefty changes everything. It's not that simple to just throw him out there. His practice reps have been pretty vanilla, nothing with the 1st or 2nd team, just individual drills and film study. he was basically in charge of the scrub offense during Navy week because he ran the option at Alter.

Wow, I didn't know Golson had a QBR that good. Those 5 games were vs. Oklahoma, Pitt, BC, Wake Forest, and USC. Pitt would probably be one of Louisville's hardest opponents this year so for a redshirt FR QB to be at the level of Bridgewater, who gets his stats torching atrocious competition, is pretty impressive.

i'd say to see what happens after next season with golson back on the reigns.
they are still limited with the playbook with tommy. now, tommy helps by checking into "a more correct play", based on what he sees. but that original playbook, is more limited.
lets remember that he does have 2 national championships, as a HC and two more under kelly. his 2 NC did come with a guy that was the D-2 equivalent of Tebow, but that mobility is something that add's to the strength of their play books.
Chuck was offered to go to CMU with kelly--turned it down to HC.
CM was offered to go to Cincy--turned it down to stay at GV
CM was offered to come and coach DB's and Cood recruiting--he jumped at it.
he's not going to eastern.

It's amazing how much better the play calling is with Elite quarterback . I will say the navy game was the only game I just didn't understand the play calling on either side of the ball .

He got progressively better as the year went on, I'll give him that. Still... I think he will be a better HC than a OC if that makes sense. Best of luck to him.

But I thought he had no idea what he was doing? Perhaps that's improved as the season went on. I was literally typing this as Lax posted above me.

I agree completely he is a team manager. I think him as OC was par, but not very creative in the run game or the pass game and he was not a great recruiter himself. I think this was a great move for him and the University of Miami ohio

The rare "everybody wins"? Maybe. If we don't lose Nyles Morgan... definitely.

I have a hard time imagining this team not being stronger with Denbrock as the OC + a true QB coach. Or a myriad of other combinations.
