That's alright Svoboda, at least you won't be turnign 30 this year like I am![]()
There's only one more Saturday without ND football.
I am so desperate for college football I may even watch the South Carolina vs Miss State game thursday night, which is bad for me because the mere sight of the assh**e head coach of South Carolina (I can't say/type his name) makes me want to kick the TV in. I would even watch the BC vs Central Michigan game, it doesn't matter at this point, I just want college ball on.
I'll watch the Miami OH Northwestern game. Remember, NU's coach, Randy Walker, passed suddenly in the offseason. Walker was a Miami grad and former coach. What was once going to be a homecoming of sorts will now be a very emotional tribute game on both sides.

I have been invited up to that game, but Oxford's a long haul for a Thursday night, with work the next day and two small children at home.
Yeah, it was so sad. I will be watching it as well. I hope NU bounces back and has a good season.
I hope they do too. But I still hope Miami OH beats them.
By the way, MU is a nice setting for a college football Saturday. Though not big time, I'd highly recommend it. It's a beautiful campus, a nice stadium and while the weather's still warm, the scenery rivals many of the better southern venues if you know what I mean.
