Ok all, here is the skinny:

We will be restarting the dynasty as an ALL BIG XII dynasty. I added Nebraska and UTSA to the Big XII and did a little maneuvering of teams to balance the two divisions. I also created the Big XII Championship game at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The settings, rules, penalties and everything will be the same as before. Wednesday and Sunday advances by Midnight just like before. So far, these are the teams spoken for:

Texas (Odywon)
Texas Tech (Me)
Oklahoma (my friend Boomer7676)
Kansas (Catholics_Rule)
Nebraska (Steve)

Everyone has invites in their mailboxes!

Everyone is set up with an A+ schedule so we get the most out of our challenges from the CPU (since we actually have talent now). Everyone has 12 games, with a patsy to tune up with in week one, most have a BYE in Week Two, and we're almost ready to roll.

BTW: TTU has some interesting "pride" unis. They have a texas flag star on one side of the helmet, on both shoulders, and then the words "Texas" down the pants. I thought that was rather kick ***.

Drew, I haven't had a chance to set up my recruiting board and won't be home until super late your time. I'll probably be setting it up at like, 1 am your time.

Last few days have been CRAZY! I'm running on two hours sleep, am looking at overtime tonight and then have to drive home. The good news: when I get home I'm off until Tuesday (no Friday work/school + Veteran's Day) so I'm going to get home and build my board and get shitfaced and pass the **** out.

Speaking of Veteran's day; not sure if anyone else in here served (except my shipmate BK), but to everyone who has/is, thanks for standing the watch brother/sister! Now go to Applebee's and get some free ribblets!

He would've only been included on rosters updated after the season started. He's a walk-on true freshman that started Tech's first four or five games at QB and was tearing it up before he got hurt.

I'm a sucker for realism so I put him on my personal rosters (just an updated version of OS's), I just didn't know if operation sports had updated/included him.

Kansas defeats FCS East 24-0 with a splendid display of defense. Unfortnately QB Heaps forced some throws which resulted in 3 INTs. RB Sims is going to be a focal point in the Jayhawk offense running for 100+ yards and a TD.

Texas Tech put down lowly Old Dominion 32-0. Very pleased with the offensive output, even if it did look weird for TTU to be running the ball. One pick in the rain...I hate turnovers. Set a new school single game sack record though, so there's that.

Nebraska beat Idaho 48-14. Not the best performance, but I'll take it. At first, I was doing everything I could to stuff the stat sheet with Taylor Martinez, but that caused me to throw a couple of INT's in the first half. I decided to play like I normally do in the 2nd half when they tied the game up at 14-14 in the 3rd. Martinez still accounted for 4 TD's though.

I do that sometimes. It sucks too because you get wrapped up in stats and all of a sudden you're like "Oh ****, I better worry about winning this damn game!"

BTW, I tried to line as many people up with a BYE week in Week Two as possible to make for a short week. I think I managed to get everyone except maybe one or two people that had a conference game. So, this next advance will hopefully be a quick one and we'll be back in action!

Along the same lines, I often have games that I feel are "perfect" in terms of balance between running, passing, playing good defense and protecting the football. Then, when the stats are looking nice and the game is in hand, I end up throwing a bogus interception on a play-action pass on a third down in the fourth quarter and I get all pissed off haha.
