Injuries

After reading all these injury reports that Svo found recently, it makes you think.
Say a novena that our boys stay injury free through pre-season and beyond.
Also gotta believe that professional-style practice techniques which, by the way Charlie brought with him, are designed to minimize such possibilties, as much as is possible anyway.
After all, pro franchises can ill afford to have multi-million dollar contracts sitting injured on the sidelines. Again, only as much as is possible because as we all know, injuries are part of the game.

They won't stay healthy, not all of them. No team ever does. And God isn't answering sports prayers at this time, or at least he better not be. But there are only a few invaluable players on the team, and those will probably stay healthy. Anyway no use worrying about injuries.

I guess the "fellowship" meeting didn't go too well today, huh?

I don't get your comment, so I'll just assume it's lame.

You must have just finished your summer school paper on your screen name's namesake. Wait till you see this year's 8th grade English Lit. curriculum.

You have, through your postings on this site, perfectly captured the spirit of Transcendentalism in the modern world.
You should know this term if you're going to be using his name now.

The disaffected 21st century youth wallowing in their own teenage angst.
Shouldn't you be writing some rebellious song about the evils of capitalism with your garage band buddys?
Or maybe spray painting graffiti on the local church voicing your perceived disenfranchisement from the world of the faithful.
Maybe, you're at the local parlor receiving your 8th body piercing. One for each year of your current enslavement and brainwashing years in America, huh?
You should try studying more, rebelling less and quit the "fellowship" of the eternally pissed off. The world, no matter what you read on your underground e-zines and "radical" left-wing blogs, is really not that bad. Don't buy into all that trash.
Cheer up and enjoy the football games. It's more fun than being angry.

No one thread. Just multiple reports of injuries at Oklahoma, Michigan, USC and now ND.
Hope the Turk is OK.

Thank you. I'd seen the others on ESPN, SI, etc. I thought I was missing other ND injuries. Whew!

Get healthy Turk!

I can only recall, for some reason, McKnight and Frome as being the most significant injuries in 2005.

Am I missing anyone else? Was it Sully or Morton that missed time last year as well?

well, lietko figured to get playing time, and was a loss, albeit not due to injury.
