This guy will have a rough time in prison Child Killers are viewed the same as Child Rapist. his life will be a living hell and more. I feel for anyone that has gone thru what AP and the baby family has gone through. I like Irishpat have a 2yr old son and the innocennts in him is something that helps me everyday. my son is my rock. i work in hell so he can have a better life and he rewards me everyday with his laughter and joy. how could some ****tard do this to a child is beyond me.

Unfortunately, this is highly unlikely. Our State penitentiary is in Sioux Falls and they don't have the "general population" issues that are portrayed on TV. This isn't "County" from SOA.
The death penalty is legal here, but it will be up to the Lincoln County States Attorney in whether or not it is sought.
I'm pretty sure that the guy that did it thinks it is OK - along with all of the other sick child beaters in today's society. That's what I meant. Chill.

Actually i work in a state prison for over 10yrs as a supervisor i have talked to inmates about this and they all say the same. that a baby killer and a baby raper are the same to them you hurt a child and you are the lowest of the scum. I dont know how it is in South Dakota but im sure you have AB's, GD, Vice lords, Saxon Knights, KKK, MS13, Latin kings. i know its not SOA. You need to pick your fight with someone else

That's a big fat negative. Don't act like you know SD when u don't. Gangs are not an issue here, unless you count the teenagers that rode the "loop" in downtown Sioux Falls in the 80s and 90s.
Most of our gang activity occurs during rally week in Sturgis and all of those guys are outsiders.
I don't disagree that other inmates don't treat child harmers like scum. But the retaliatory strikes and physical violence you are implying do not happen here.
Sioux Falls and SD in general, is one of the safest places in the country to live.

Read my post carefully i said i dont know how it is in SD. Quit looking for a fight. Are you sure do you work at a prison and most states have some kind of gang activity check your facts sir. I just did a simple google search and found several articles about gang violence in Sioux City, SD. every town has some type of violence.

I hate how even things as sad as this have to turn into an argument about the little details that don't ****ing matter. Anyone has the right to be angry at the situation. That doesn't mean they are loosing focus on whats important, it probably means they know whats important and when they look at their own children they can't process the emotion of what it would be to lose their own. Who his father is shouldn't matter. A 2 year old was taken from this earth far sooner than he should have. And in a way that is unimaginable by most. The person responsible for that will get his, although not nearly what he should. It takes a person without a soul to attack an infant. A person without a soul doesn't deserve to breath in my book.

Sorry it was Sioux Falls SD. I was distracted when i type this orginally once again check google and type in Sioux Falls SD gangs and several newspaper article come up. You might not have the problems directly in your area but your town as gang issues. Back to AP child may he rest forever in heaven
