Here is a breakdown of what the roster should look like, if you are entering the names yourself or if you are waiting to download the rosters than adjust the ND roster...

I keep the ratings the same, don't want to mess up the game play, but there are some small and major adjustments to get the roster as on target as possible. (Any rating changes were due to position changes so that their overall rating would stay the same, though I left Crum alone as he probably won't be as good of a MLB as he would have been OLB)

IMO LOLB is strong side, and ROLB is Apache
The only player I'm tempted to change is Quinn as he was robbed in the game, but if I say add 10 points to him, I'm taking 10 points off of Borsetti

Anyway, here you all go...yes this is sad, but I had nothing to do today

how do you play the spring game in order to build up your players? and does practicing do anything for the players or just for understanding your playbook?

Practice helps if you are in the Heisman mode (or whatever they call it) I don't believe it helps durning the season, but the more you play guys if they do well, their ratings go up.

The spring game you play 5 min on D and 5 min on Offense with the first team, if you have great games with players they improve that much more in the offseason

Thanks FI9.. I was going to look into doing a post like this myself since I just got my roster file with the names... I was let down by how low D. Jones was (although they always rate QB's with speed low as passers) as well as our two DB's... McNeil and Walls... what did you think about that...?

Also, you think you could take on the idea of a CAP for B. Gallup??? I was going to do it myself but if you think you have Barry's ability nailed I'd like to ask if you can give me a hand... mine would be more of an guesstimate aside from his speed...

Also, the last few years I have always made a CAP for Ziby that is an exact copy of their version w/ his eligibilty fixed then I take their Ziby and change him to any senior lineman that may or not see playing time and he basically sits the bench... the only minus is you lose a impact player for a year, BUT you get two years of Ziby instead of losing him at the end of the year in your dynasty... (I personally think he'll prop. be back next year...) And his class standing has been a problem for three years now...

For this year, I think Walls and McNeil are rated pretty well. Its very hard IMO for a True freshman to break out as a Cornerback....the college game is COMPLETELY different than the highschool game. They have good speed, acceleration and Agility, so I'm hoping they progress well in the off seasons....

now it will be disapointing if they are maxing out at 82 by their Junior and Senior years...so in that aspect its a shame, but I don't mind the freshman year numbers

As for Zbikowski.....I don't mind them having him as a Senior this year because he has made it pretty clear he won't be coming back...I'd also be surprised if Sullivan came back, the guys that I wish I could have figured a way to get that year of eligibility back are

Thomas...think he returns
Carlson...Pretty positive he comes back
and maybe Mitchell Thomas, I'm pretty sure the others will be heading out though

i simulated through a season just to see if ND would win the NC(and they did), but Walls and Mcneil don't get much better in the second season. I went back and started my season over again bumping them up a little. Kind of dissapointing that even the video game makers have a bias against ND recruits.

I think the ratings they gave them is pretty good considering they haven't played a down of college ball yet.

Agreed I had to bump them up a little bit though. Not too much.

Sorry guys, D. Walls at a 68 is pretty bad considering he MAY have quite an impact this year... having Jones' Awareness 20+ points lower than Fraziers was a head shaker too...

Also FI9... what did you hear Ziby say that I didn't, He's said he's not coming back???That must be cause his boxing right??? Couldn't see him jumping early for the NFL...
