Another quality LB prospect in the Class of 2008. Looks like there will be an abundance of big time guys available.

This kid is supposed to be legit. St. X is the defending state champ. A few months back, Charlie made the rounds of the Cincinnati schools. The X folks mentioned this kid as a possible subject of conversation with their coaches.

Our last LB from X was a good one-Rocky Boiman. I'd like to get more GCL guys at ND (starting with Ben Martin of course:) )

Schneider has a couple schools at the top of his list at this early point.

"I've always been a Notre Dame fan," he said. "And Boston College. But I'm open to anyone."
I like it.

St. X sends a lot of guys to BC-and not just for football. They have that Jebbie connection. However, they are a pretty good pipeline for the ND student body as well. Academically, St. X may be the premier Catholic school in the midwest. So the connection to ND makes sense.

This team is very very good. They have already beaten the other favorite in Ohio, St. Edwards and lost in OT by a field goal to Lakeland Fl, who is sending half their roster to UF next season.

Considering most of X's stars are jrs, they will be a top 5 team in the country next year. If Charlie can open one pipeline in Cincinnati, this is the one he wants.

I think they should be odds on favorites right now to be #1 in the country. I mean, Lakeland barely squeeked by them. If Lakeland was playing St. X as seniors, I think X walks them. I really hope we pull several off that stacked team.

When asked about the schools he is most interested in, Schneider said, "I'd still say if I had a top choice I would probably say Notre Dame. But I'm definitely interested in Ohio State, Michigan and Boston College."
Still favoring ND. Hopefully they get some tape on him. I really like what I see.

BTW, I have found out that Schneider was at the Notre Dame/Stanford game as his friend bought tickets. Nice.
