Ray’s back in college football…..looking a lot like Theo Huckstabull in the latter years of his stardom.* The Hammer always thought Ray would make a good coach, as*he served as a good tutor for*Marc Edwards, Jamie Spencer, Randy Kinder, Autry Denson, and Robert Farmer in the mid-90s.

He was a very blue collar style of back....very underrated, too bad his pro career didn't pan out. If anyone wants to see what Ray Zellers was all about watch the 1993 FSU game and I believe it was in the 2nd Qrt. right before Burris runs it in for the TD, Zellers has one of the most determined runs I have ever seen....IMO I believe it should be shown to every RB that comes through ND of how to run.

I am still telling yea the '93 FSU game I think is better...I think he runs through or over like 5 players. Although that is a pretty amazing run by a FB.
