Oilers need to win. Hockey, great a sport as it is, needs several things to happen for it to get back to what it was. One of those is that the Anaheims, Carolinas, Tampa Bays, Dallases, need to never win. This is a Canadian and Northern US sport, and when hockeys many detractors (most of whom hardly look at it) see that Carolina is in the finals and favored to win, or that Tampa has won, it just reinforces how backwards the sport is, and keeps them from watching. It's like if the Expos and Blue Jays had traded titles in baseball every season since 1990.

Looks like they will be drinking Sweet Tea again from the Cup as Canada will lose another chance at the Cup from another team from the South.

What a great game last night for those of us who watched it, well played overall.

I think all four people that watched that game are on this board. I saw the overtime period.

So far a women's softball game and an "I Love Lucy" rerun have outdrawn the Stanley Cup playoffs. That's no joke, either.

Not enough Americans really care. I live in Chicago. We have a hockey team....The Wolves.

Whew thought I had cursed Carolina when I made that Sweet Tea crack with them up 3-1. But, I was happy to see them hold on and pull it out. Made for a great series. Helluva lot more fun then watching soccer that just bores me to death.
