Generally offers come within the following days or weeks after the staff has a chance to digest everything and evaluate.

Dailey appeared to have a good day and said that the staff told him they would get back to him shortly. He also said there were over 50 kids at the camp.

Why wouldn't they offer him? He is going to be a good LB.

Somebody made the point that he is very much like Steve Paskorz and I couldn't agree more. But in my opinion, we need all the linebackers we can get. We're going to have to 'mix & match' the hell out of the depth chart and we'll just have to see what we can get.

Regardless, I like the guy, and I always root for the Ohioans to get scholarships.

If you look at the current LBs, we already have two fast outside LBs in Paskorz & Nagel...Two athletic guys. Now, I think Minter is looking for his beasts in the middle who still have speed. I think Chris Donald is definitely one of those beasts, but I am curious to see who the fourth will be.

I don't see the Paskorz comparision to Dailey at all. Paskorz will be a weakside linebacker (Iniside) not outside or apache, Nagel I think has the flexability to move inside or stay outside. Dailey is purley a Apache LB, and I think would translate at that position better then Paskorz or Nagel. I also think the staff might be waiting to hear from Harrison Smith and Lorenzo Edwards on where they stand with those guys before they get the offer. But Paskorz is not a apache or OLB. Nagel very may well be. I see Paskorz in the mold of a Teddy Bruschi type of LB. Dailey may get one when the staff gets a better read or waits a little longer on Smith and Edwards.

Nagel, Paskorz, & Dailey are all right around the same size except that Paskorz & Nagel run 4.5's while Dailey runs a 4.6. Dailey is actually taller than the other two. Nagel & Paskorz are a little smaller and a little faster, the definition of guys who should be playing Apache. I apologize, but I have to disagree with the assessment Robdog. If anything, Dailey is the inside guy, but I think he is being lumped into the mold of our two current commits. We will see, though. The recruiting season is far from over.

I have watched film on all 3 prospects and no way is Paskorz a apache LB he is aggresive, and physical and smaller much in the mold of Hoyte but not the quickness to cover wideouts and backs on a regular basis. Dailey is a similar athlete to AV, a S/LB hybrid and I don't think would hold up well inside because he will be tall and thin. Nagel on the other hand is very physical, quick and could probably play any of the LB positions. But no way is Paskorz a apache, and no way is Dailey a ILB. The films are better to look at instead of just going off profiles.
