Wow, how would you like to be a skilled position player on that Pitt team? Wanny publically saying he plans on playing freshmen over his upperclassmen. Hopefully he also said they had to earn that spot, not just have it handed to them.

Wanny should apologize to Palko for ruining him. I hope he stays there for as long as ND plays them. He'll recruit well enough, at least early on, because of his name. But I'll be surprised if he ever wins. As a Bears fan I will never confuse him with a competent head coach, no matter what level he's at.

Sour grapes. He's a good QB. Looking at his stats now I see he wasn't as bad as I'd thought. Still, what dropoff there is is on Wanny. Who's to say that if Weis goes to Pitt, and Wanny to ND, Palko's not the Heisman frontrunner and Quinn a "good but not great" also-ran?
