DC would be Benn and Austin.

Colorado is Miller. North Carolina Gilchrist?

I doubt Gilchrist... I think he is one of the best corners in the Nation, but he gets very little pub by Scout/Rivals. I really hope that works in our favor, he would be another NC gem like McNeil was last year.

I thought Mike Ragone was gonna make the cut. I thought the same for Kamara. Guess not.

they will probbly get a 6.0 rating by rivals which is the highest ranking you can get without being a 5-star.

You're right.

It is WR Dwight Jones. I don't think it is Greg Little either.

I've got to go with Robert Hughes as my guess from Illinois.

Well, Little is a combine queen. He has went to nearly 15 combines if I'm correct and has dazzled everyone at pretty much every combine. IMO, I think he is a Top 5 athlete in this class and I would love to have him at ND.

Tray Allen, Marvin Austin, Allen Bailey, Joseph Barksdale, Arrelious Benn, Eric Berry and John Brantley highlight the first 7 Rivals 5-Star prospects.

Since Dionte Allen was not in the first 7, looks like that may be one I missed on. I was 50/50 on Allen and RoJo, so I assume RoJo gets the nod.

My guesses updated. 7/7 so far, but looks like I missed on Allen.

Could John Clay be the Wisconsin 5-star and not Oglesby?

Possibly, but I don't see how. They have said they take academics into consideration and I believe Clay is still trying to qualify, right?

Noel Devine is one of those guys who I think gets 5 stars regardless of character/academic issues. He's that good. Brown, Brantley, Thompson, and Devine from Florida.

I want Austin or Barksdale so bad

For whatever reason, O$U fans think they have Barksdale. But they have failed to produce evidence of any sort (including 'realistic' rumors--or any rumors at all that I know of) to back up their opinion that they are the leader for him.

So where Barksdale goes is anyone's guess. I think I remember reading somewhere that he left the B&G game at half-time, which unless there is some valid excuse, isn't a good sign... but he did seem to come back pretty excited about the trip... so I don't know what he thinks of us.

So far I'm 13/14, but I'll have missed at least two as Dionte Allen did not make the cut and I didn't include Noel Devine because of his academic problems. 7 more will come out tomorrow.

Thursday Seven: Caleb King from Lilburn (Ga.), Joe McKnight from River Ridge (La.), Willy Korn of Duncan (S.C.), Dwiight Jones of Burlington (NC), Ronald Johnson of Muskegon (Mich.), Ryan Mallett of Texarkana (TX) and Ryan Miller of Littleton (CO).

Svo, you got five on them.

From what I've seen of Martez Wilson's video, the guy is incredible and deserving of 5 stars...but, in the past month he has really come out of nowhere.. he has received a lot of valuable offers, but I still think it would be strange for Rivals to give him 5 stars so quickly.

Then again, I guess this is really the first evaluation, and the same could even be said of Barksdale.

He made the list today.

Did they revise their Top 100?

Hughes was in the pre-evaluation list and Wilson was not.
