Greg Olson

He'll be a first round pick next year, Miami has no problems turning out TE's.......

The Olsen twins just weren't a good fit at ND. Greg was scared oof Fasano, and his brother was scared of Quinn. Al Groh has named him the starting QB this upcoming season so in the end it worked out for him and his brother

Charlie, Brady, ND's new offense....

Anyone think Greg is regretting his decision to leave ND?

Without a doubt. Odds are he'll still get drafted in the first couple rounds if not the first round, but I'm sure he regrets heading off to Miami.

While he gets quite a few balls thrown his way, he still is underutilized considering how talented he is. I think he also lost his position coach after getting wiped up in their bowl game, didn't he? So now he has to adjust to a new coach. Ironic.

The guy is a stud. He'd be good anywhere.

Kyle Wright thanks his lucky stars each night he had Olson last year and will again this year.

From a football perspective, the move to Miami was not a bad one for Olsen. Miami, has has been said above, puts out top tight ends. So I'd say it's a wash when it comes to football.

However, from an overall career perspective, the move was definately the right decision for him. Had he stayed at ND, his promising rap career would have gone nowhwere.

YAWN....UVa will pull its annual choke-a-thon as only they really can and finish 8-4 at BEST, but probably 7-5 and lose (again) in a meaningless bowl....for all of the talent that they put in the NFL, sure makes one wonder about Groh's ability to make players better...

Haven't seen much of Ragone, but I'd have to say Olsen. He was the #3 OVERALL recruit on ESPN that year.

I read something awhile back that said Greg Olsen didn't really want to transfer but his dad sort of made him after it was apparent his brother was the #3 quaterback behind Holiday and Quinn. Basically, he got dragged off the field crying because he didn't want to leave. Anyone else hear this?

thats interesting, but cant say i ever heard that. what i heard was the greg olsen always wanted to go to miami but choose ND because his brother was their. i also heard that the only reason bob davie recruited chris olson was to get his brother greg.

I had heard something similar minus the crying part. It's too bad that some parents get so damn involved... it really ruins it for the kids sometimes.
