Which games are you going to try and see next season?

Since tickets are so expensive, I will probably only be able to make the North Carolina game since it is on my birthday (nice gift, eh?). I still want to be there for either the Michigan or Penn State game, but only time will tell whether that is a realistic option.

But, I'm going to do everything in my power to be in East Lansing for when the Irish get their revenge against Michigan State.

..might have to devote all the $ from a summer job to getting PSU/scUM tickets.

EDIT: why do I get the feeling this thread has already been done?

definitely the michigan game. it's by far our best rivalry game at home this year. gotta work a couple of connections though. but it's going to happen one way or another. see you guys there!

oh wait...that sounds like it's this weekend. so i'm just going to put myself into a sports coma by watching baseball all summer. goodnight.......

If all goes to plan...

Georgia Tech
Penn State
USC

That hinges on me being able to trade 4 USC tickets for 4 Penn State tickets, and I'm not sure that will be possible given the build up to that game. If not, then I guess I'll have to settle for Michigan. But I so badly want to be in the stadium when we thrash JoePa.

what pill does neo take?

what pill does neo take?

every year i get two games from my grandfather. i'm reay torn between UM and PSU. i've already made a committment for the UCLA game so that leaves me with one more game.
i've seen Michigan 3 or 4 times. i've never seen PSU. i don't want to go to a "boring" game but i've read good things about the nittany lions new qb. so, it comes down to this. being torn i guess? you have a "hart" on one team and a cannon arm. then on the other hand, you have a young exciting receiver unit with a legendary coach with a nose for good defense (paul). so which one do i take guys? which one will be the better game? or are y'all torn too? -don

I'd go with PSU, but yeah, that's an incredibly difficult pick. I just think that there will be a better atmosphere for the game, what with it being the first home game of the season and not to mention all the other things that will be affiliated with it. I wonder if Gameday will be there? Or is that the Saturday of the OSU @ Texas games (my God, I'm going to say it.... hook 'em horns!)?

It should be pretty crazy. PSU lost a lot, but I don't think they'll be too greatly affected by the loss of Robinson (that was their QB's name, right?), as he wasn't anything special. If anything, his replacement in Anthony Morelli might pose a greater threat than he would have. Their defense will still be pretty good, headlined by Posluzney's return and as you said, the young talent will be back.

Will it be as competitive as the Michigan game? I don't know. I tend to think that it'll be pretty close, but Michigan is the team I worried most about pre-USC.

Being a PA resident and PSU hater I'm trying to get some tickets for the PSU game, my fall back plan is Stanford, last resort is Navy in Baltimore.

You won't have any trouble whatsoever getting tickets for the Stanford game.

If all goes as planned, I'll be going to the Fiesta Bowl, National Championship game in Tempe, AZ. But no regular season games. I'll watch all of them from my tv at home, where no one can hear my cursing.

I will make whatever games that my brother-n-law and family will have extra season tickets too. Most of their kids are know grown and off to college. Last season we caught 4 including USC. I'm hoping every home game this year, plus taking a trip up to E. Lansing. Of course, I'll give up my seats to Steve if he hasn't found tickets by then!

I will defintely be in South Bend for the Penn State and Michigan games.

After that, I may make the trek for the Purdue and UCLA games, that has yet to be decided.
