Tough to find decent tape on him. I found some on youtube but it's so poor I won't waste your guys time. Does anyone have a feel for this guy?

Edit: Here's decent tape:

#12 Lawrence Marshall Southfield 2012 - YouTube

he's around 6-3 to 6-4, 220 to 230. Nice height and frame with long arms, quick first step. A little raw but lots of potential. Really solid get for Michigan. My view in recruiting is that you should lock up your home state first and then go from there. Marshall is rated by the 247Composite as a 4*, 151st best player in the nation, and the 11th best weakside end. Nice offer list, was a former Ohio State commit to boot.

Marshall was a big MSU lean and Brady Hoke came in and snatched him away from Dantonio just like he snatched Drake Harris away. When Rodriguez was the coach at Michigan, Dantonio was taking the top recruits in the state of Michigan like clockwork. Now that Hoke's been there it's like a complete role reversal but it's even worse. Dantonio can't land a Michigan kid that Hoke really wants to save his life it seems like.

Michigan is slowly building a powerhouse. damn

Whoa.. Michigan is slowly building a good team, but powerhouse? Hardly. They haven't brought in nearly the difference makers a team like ND has the last couple of years, let alone teams like Bama or LSU keep bringing in.

lol yeah they had 1 half decent Oline haul last year..they are far from back. If Gardner goes down this year at all they are toast.

Heard Hoke said at the banquet yesterday that UM would be pursuing a QB who has a 5th year available. Heard it was the Arkansas QB who could come in and be immediately eligible.

They are in trouble if Gardner were to go down and I think Hoke knows it.

they tried to get Trickett from FSU to transfer but he chose WVU. They are pretty desperate alright..maybe Hendy or Rees would go there? :D

what true freshmen QB's are ready? Morris is super raw. All potential, but not close to a finished product, which is why I never agreed with his 5* rating, which he eventually lost btw, and rightfully so.

I'd say the 2012 OL haul and 2013 OL hauls were more than halfway decent. Hoke only had 1 OL of "his" guys in that late 2011 class that was mostly made up of Rodriguez recruits. Including that player- Chris Bryant- Hoke has signed 11 OL recruits and 10 of the 11 were given a 4 star or better ranking by at least one of the four major recruiting services. That is some really good OL recruiting. Right now he's got Mason Cole and JBB as verbals n 2014, both of which are consensus 4*'s.

I agree Michigan is far from back, but the OL recruiting has definitely been much better than half decent. Absolutely agree about that last part of your post, if Gardner goes down with a serious injury Michigan is screwed, because Morris simply isn't ready yet and with Bellomy tearing his ACL they have no other QB's on scholarship.
