Ice Age 2: The Meltdown

Took the kids to check this movie out since we all like the first Ice Age. Since it has been out a couple weeks, Kerasotes has the $5 club, so $20 to check out a movie isn't too bad.

Anyhow, I thought this was a pretty entertaining movie. Of course, I like most of the movie cartoons that have come out in the last 10 years. Both of the boys (4 and 9) laughed pretty much the whole way through, so I assume they thoroughly enjoyed it, too.

Definitely worth the look.

HILARIOUS movie, even though there was one part that I was like, "Did I just hear that?" The part where the animal goes, "Dam!"
I don't have any kids and am usually pretty liberal about letting my 3 & 4 year old cousins watch a lot of questionable movies for kids their age like Independence Day, Star Wars, & Jurassic Park. When I heard Dam!, though, all I could think about was a bunch of little kids going to school and repeating the word over and over. Whatever...no biggie. A mammoth acting like a possum though...funny. That is like Chris Stewart with a tail trying to hang upside down from a tree.

I was crying at some points.

One of my favorites was after the whole "Let's get it on" scene, when the possums were comforting "Sis" and walking away, one of the brothers did the DeNiro "I'm watching you Focker" thing. Oh man, hilarity!

I tell you what I can't wait to see is Happy Feet! Holy crap, I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the previews when he was singing that Spanish music. In fact, I am gonna jump on yahoo and check out the preview again. Hahaha.

Yeah, that was pretty funny. Star studded cast led by Robin Williams. LOL
