2014 ESPN Recruit Analysis

I was just watching a video on the ESPN CFB App so I don't have a link, but they said that it was a down year overall for DL and QB and kind of an up year for RB and WR but that there is not a clear cut #1 guy right now. They would have to spend a lot of time really watching guys this year as compared to the last few where the top guys really stood out.

I wonder if Kelly is seeing the same thing and is similarly taking his time in choosing recruits to go after, which might explain he slow play on Hood, and others.....

I believe you are on to something. It also has a lot to do with that this class is going to be smaller in size so i think overall ND is going to be picky on who they take

I thought I read that was the consensus on him and possibly why we have not spoken with his parents even though he is high on us. I apologize.

Anyway, we may be in for a long recruiting cycle this year if the ESPN guys are having a are time evaluating (I know its ESPN, but still).

The BOLD says everything you need to know about ESPN CFB recruiting quality. Oh, they have to actually watch people this year..... POS... I'll even take Scout over ESPN.
