2013 O Line

Just wanted to get your guys thoughts on what you think will happen/would like to see happen next year with our OL. The only guy who seems to be a certainty at a given position is Zack Martin at LT. Clearly, Watt and Lombard will be starting, but we're not totally sure where. Some of the ideas thrown around for those 2 are:
- Keep Watt at LG and Lombard at RT, find a new C and RG
- Move Watt to C, leave Lombard at RT, find 2 new guards
- Move Lombard inside to RG, leave Watt at LG, find a new RT and C
- Move Watt to RG, leave Lombard at RT, find a new LG and C
And plenty of other combinations of those position changes. Finally, we've gotta get 2 new guys in there to fill the vacancies left by Cave and Golic. If Lombard stays at RT, those 2 new guys will likely come from the group of Matt Hegarty, Connor Hanratty, and Nick Martin. Should Lombard move inside, our new RT will almost certainly be Ronnie Stanley, while the final starter will again come from the above group of 3.

So what do you guys think? I personally would like to see Watt and Lombard stay at their respective positions, but who knows?

imo it comes down to who is the best out of hegarty, n. martin, hanratty,and stanley.

Yes, started every game at RT. Was considered a G coming out of HS though

Replacing Cave is the big deal. I hope someone steps up before they have to move a starter. What I am really juiced about is what young kid steps up early and what this o line looks like when the baby 'deisels' hit their arrival date in 2014/2015. This line is going to be massive and agile. There is not a slug in the group. 2013 will be a 'lets just hold the fort and wait for the kids to become men'. This line can produce 9 wins- from there its up to the coach to squeeze out one more for 10.
