Downgrade them all... please, give us more motivation

I can help but laugh at the recent downgrades on most of our players by Scout, Rivals and ESPN. I know we're Notre Dame and I know that you either love us or you hate us, but this is pure comedy.

Don't know if you caught it, but we've now fallen to 8th at ESPN after the addition of Young in this class but they have teams like Miami ahead of us. Hell, they have UNLV knock at #20 with only 5 commitments. Are you kidding me?

The good thing is I hope it puts a chip on these kids' shoulders. I hope they come in with something to prove... come in, work their asses off and give a big F you to all of these so called experts.

Raeshon McNeil goes to the penthouse, Matt Carufel to the outhouse.

Star rankings don't matter much to me. What matters are the needs that were addressed, like offensive line and the defensive backfield. Two linebackers. Receivers.

ND went out and stocked where they needed depth. They have quality players, 3-4-5 stars or whatever you want to call them.

All Weis really needs to compete for a National Championship is top 20 talent. On Rivals our last 4 classes ranked 40,32,12,24 for a total average of 27. Even with this low ranking ND was only 6 points away from playing in the NC game this season. Just imagine what Charlie can do with top 10 talent every year.

40,32,12,24 is recent to past 2005-40th, 2004-32, 2003-12th, and 2002-24th
The Davie/Willingham class was ranked 24, then Ty's first full class was 12th(some had it in the top 10) his next class was where it turned bad 32nd, and then there was last years class Ty/Weis which ranked 40th.

Richardson is no longer a 4 star player on rivals, he's now a 3 star player, and has fallen to 31st at his postion. This is getting funny.

How did his stock fall so much, his season has been over for awhile now.
