Perhaps he will join Urban and his stable of 47 wide receivers down in Gainesville.

ND will lose two receivers after 2006.

man i would love to see some of that florida speed in south bend. that really impressive that ND had a scout down in florida to check him out last spring. just because CW had been on the job for about 4 months and that this kid was only finishing up his sophmore year.

Glades Central is full of D-I talent every year. They play a game against Pahokee every year known as "The Muck Bowl." One of the best rivalries in America.

I like Benn and Tolliver, but I'm curious to see some highlights of this kid.

I wonder if Urbans going to run like 8 receiver sets or something. You know...have like three offensive lineman and no running back or tight end. I understand that you want to go after the best players, but recruiting 4 and 5 WR's in one class is a bit much. It's not like the current WR's are all seniors and are leaving. Most of their receivers are young.

I don't think it's a given that all of this year's UF WR class gets in.

Yeah, I think I mentioned that in one of my other posts in another thread. Teams in the SEC tend to recruit based on the fact that some of these guys won't qualify academically. They receive a nice little recruiting ranking, but what good is it to recruit guys that potentially can't make the grade? They do it, because there's not alot of attention giving to the players who can't gain admission to the school. My question is if you know the guy is suspect, why recruit him in the first place?

I"m not a gameplanner or anything, but I think it is going to be Tebow, the center and 9 WR. And off they go.

when was the last time you saw a QB make it in the NFL who played in a spreed offense in college? i havn't. if your a QB and want to make it to the NFL why would you want to play in a gimmicky offense instead of a PRO-STYLE offense. it just makes no sense.

Make sure the center's eligible, because the football is sure to hit him in the a$$ a couple of times.

i was just thinking that the QB sneak isn't much of an option.

LMAO! Not the way their receiver's block. They would need at least 4-5 backup QB. Not unless the QB is another Reggie Ray (Not Another Teen Movie) and he's got 9 concussions left.

I couldn't agree more. I mean look at Alex Smith...yes, he's a rookie and all, but the game he played in college is vastly different compared to the one he's playing in the NFL. I'm not saying that he won't be good someday, but I am betting against it though. Aaron Rodgers is in the same category. The system that they use in Cal is strict memorization. If you go into a system where you have to make quick reads of the defense from that, you're going to struggle. I think that's why he fell in the draft - his poise and decision making were unknown to NFL teams...

Whereas Brady Quinn will hit the ground running.
