I bought a Fiesta Bowl T-shirt last night.

I bought it at a Dick's store here in Cincy. Bright red. It's the ugliest damned shirt I've ever bought. I almost puked in my mouth as the girl rang it up. It seems my wife's boss is a big time OSU fan and she thought it would make a nice gift for him. For what it's worth, it hurt her to buy it as well. God love her, she bleeds blue and gold. But she likes working for the guy and I had to admit it's a nice gift for him. And hopefully it will also make a painful reminder for him.

It was a nice gesture, but if the dude is a Buckeye fan, he wouldn't get much more than a FULL bag of Buckeye bull grumpiesileof: from me. Let him take a whiff of that "gift from the heart" and then he'll know how you felt buying that stupid shirt and how he's going to feel after the Fiesta Bowl.

I also bought a Fiesta Bowl t-shirt, but it's not team-specific. It has the 'helmet clash' style going on... it's kind of like an investment. If ND wins, I'll love to wear it to school as often as possible, but if they lose, it'll never see the light of day.

I wanted one of those as well, but all the store had was anOSU garb. I remember growing up, you could get ND stuff in all of the stores around here. Now it's tougher to find. I suspect that will change over the next few years.

I've already discovered that my sister, who buys me one gag gift every year, has purchasing a scarlet OSU #10 jersey for me.

After Notre Dame, I am partial to Ohio State because of my extreme hatred for scUM and my family roots in Ohio (Plus a horrible experience with Illinois as a youth that drove me from my home state school).

Normally I would enjoy this gift, but not this year. The timing is off.
