He is visiting for the Michigan game. He is the son of former NFL cornerback Troy Vincent. He was at the ND camp this summer; could be close to an offer.

On a side note, I'm getting really old. His dad was a pro bowler when i was in high school, now his son is a junior i n high school.

Troy has said that he did not feel at home with Notre Dame and doesnt like their program at all. Wants to go down south (carolina). He plays in a very crappy league and hasnt made any plays or have had large impact on his high school team

Gilman opened this season against Moeller, Good Counsel, and Don Bosco. Calvert Hall is also a decent team each year. And they'll probably see Good Counsel again in the playoffs. Their competition is plenty good enough. Send kids to D-I programs every year.

Bielema was recruiting him hard to Wisconsin as was one of the other coaches from Wisconsin. His father went to Wisconsin so he has that connection still, but I wonder if losing their head coach and the other coach recruiting him helps us if we get into the game.

Gilman hasn't had a Tier 1 corner prospect since the 2012 class. We should stick with powerhouses like Woodberry Forest.

I will say, on the other hand, that their coach doesn't seem to be steering any kids our way despite the obvious academic compatibility. He played at Pitt, and his son is going to Michigan... Perhaps he has a little anti-ND in him?

Having played most of these schools in high school there is a string anti notre dame in high school football here. I wore an old Irish lettermans jacket everyday in high school and caught **** for it.

Ambrose Wooden and Victor Abiamiri both went from Glman to ND a few years ago. Saw them both play in high school.
