NCAA Football 13 October Title Update Details

Hello NCAA Football fans, Jason French, line producer for NCAA Football 13 back again to give you information on the next Title Update, which is scheduled to be released later this month.

We have been reading the forums and talking with our fans and we look forward to delivering this update, as it addresses several community requests. The following is a list of items that will be included in the upcoming Title Update:

Gameplay

Fixed issue where running the no-huddle was taking too long.
Fixed an issue where players were sometimes not breaking the huddle.
Fixed it so receivers won’t slip as much on the turf when it is raining.

Dynasty

Fixed it where prospects were softly committing to schools even though they were not on that school’s recruiting board or showed any interest.
Fixed some recruiting logic where CPU teams were not offering scholarships to some prospects.
Fixed an issue with uploading highlights to Dynasty Wire.
Made the sorting on the Recruiting more user friendly so that it remembers previous sorts.
Fixed an issue where a prospect with low interest was getting changed to “N/A”.
Fixed an issue where some Online Dynasties were losing players and coaches.
Fixed a problem where promises were getting deleted.
Online Head-to-Head
Fixed a reporting issue where if someone went offsides three times it forced their opponent into a loss.

Stability

Increased the stability of the product by fixing various crashes.


Additionally, I think I am going to start a league of either created schools or really crappy schools to build up from the basement. Yes, even more of the basement than Tulsa Alamo! I would like to play my alma mater somewhere so I'll throw this out there for any interested parties. If you think it might be for you, give me a shout and I'll create a separate thread for it. I'd much rather do a 1 star or created school dynasty than one where any teams are available.

I don't have the free time to do two leagues, so if/when you start another, I will leave this one and start from the basement...I could play as my alma mater perhaps??? Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania...they just ended their D2 record breaking losing streak a couple weeks ago.

We could be forced to use the team's playbook that we use as well. That'd add some challenge to it!

I'd be down for a garbage league. I created my school, Northern Kentucky University, which is in its first year as a DI school btw, no football tho

I would have to tweak the roster and settings to make it a "cupcake" roster, but I'd definitely be interested.

BTW i just finished replaying my game after it didn't count it the first time so were all ready to advance.

If ya'll would be interested, I could post the program letter grades and what the other particulars are for my team and you guys could follow suit. My Central Missouri Mules are division two so I made them a one star and tried to adjust them as if they moved up into division one like some new guys on the block.

Oh, let me know if anyone needs help creating a school...I can get it for you.

I am not deadly...a 95 speed receiver 95 and 93 speed RBs against a slow defensive backfield are. Lob and pray, there isn't much more to Garrett's stats than that. Pop passes to RB's. We can do a practice game if you wanna get that air raid going too. I can tell you some plays to use as base plays and suggest some hot routes based on what defense is chosen. I'm so boring on D though. Cover 2 man!

For some ungodly reason when I played OU they let him run by every damn time...the AI has HUGE issues. They probably have some kind of bug when you set your D to focus on an individual WR...that would possibly explain that game...

My team, as I said, shattered the D2 all time losing record until somehow winning a miracle game this season...

The depths of my depravity? I actually took the time to make the roster exactly like Central's...each player is the size, name, look and year of the player there (and I don't even know why I did that...something to do while waiting for this game to come out).

So far, we have Snakes, Alamo and Myself in for this type of league. Let's see if we can at least pick up one more person because once we start, we can't add any more teams...only players. Does everyone have a Teambuilder team made of whom they would use or do you need logo assistance with them? I am more than happy to help. I'll throw the stats up here below:

Program: One Star (obviously)
Academic Prestige: B- Yay! Learning!
Campus Lifestyle: C. We went there...it can't be all that bad, right? LOL
Coach Prestige: D Who is THIS guy?!
Championship Contender: D- Yeah, right...only if we're getting the field ready for the other teams to play!
Athletic Facilities: C- Stadium Stairs and Freeweights stolen from the local gym! LOL
Fan Base: D
Pro Potential: I put this at a C- because there have been a few guys from Central Missouri go to the NFL. Probably about 6 total. Feel free to enjoy their success with your team so we all have exact same grades!
Program Tradition: C- Every school has a tradition, it just may not be a good one...but they still have it!
Television Exposure: D- Only on local cable TV access!

Your roster may be a little bit better than what the real team has, but you have to have a little bit to start with and the Heisman settings should offset having a relatively decent player here and there. I'll post those figures in the next post.

I'm in for this dynasty as well, I think I have my NKU team created, just need to adjust the roster. You can search it if you want Dre (don't know if you saw the logo on teambuilder or looked up NKU).

I should be able to fix up the roster and program to match the specifications tonight at work, depending on how much time it takes me to finish final exam stuff.

Not at all! I'll throw you an invite shortly. So, it's looking like we'll have 5 teams then? That's not bad really. I'll get this league spun up by tomorrow and create it's own thread. By the way, we'll be using the same rules, settings and advance dates as this one to keep things simple.

By the way, my wife and I saw a 2013 Rolls Royce Phantom at our Waffle House! I assumed it was an athlete or entertainer's...turns out (from the waitress) it was either a part of Tech Nine's posse or another rapper touring with him (they're in town, Tech Nine is from the town next to us and they had been there over the weekend). That's a $400,000+ vehicle...parked at Waffle House. Awesome.

Oh, by the way, I checked out a few things on my created team. First off, being a small *** school I gave them a 20,000 seat Midwest High School stadium and that fits perfectly. It has a press box, stands, and then campus and tennis courts around the stadium area. Last year's game kept the fly in showing a high school type sign and then in stadium signage. Thankfully this year they got rid of that and it's completely clean and looks great. Now, if I were you making one and you don't go with one of the high school stadiums, just keep in mind a lot of the stadiums you might choose keep their team specific signage (which is annoying and dumb).

If you pick a bowl stadium, it splits the crowd down the middle so your home games will always have an inordinate amount of away fans. If you do not choose one of the high school stadiums, your best bet is to pick one of the pro style generics. They do not have team specific signage nor anything crazy. Just a heads up!

Oh, and most importantly, if you want to play I need your PSN name under which you created your team. I have to download them to include them into the dynasty before upload.
