I love the ppl who voted for Obama say that there will be no tax hike. Money has to come from somewhere...

While different small businesses lay off ppl or reduce there hours so they can afford to stay in business.

Love how the harder i work (make more $) the higher my taxes go up....

How many people are contributing more than $20K/year to 401ks? If you make a pile of money you are going to pay higher taxes with fewer and fewer places to hide, no news there.

Nothing here prohibits saving in a regular account for your retirement, you are just going to get taxed as you go on gains and income from those investments, and have less to save because your income will be taxed higher.

Part of the problem is the slippery slope. The goal posts are continually moved. So in 20 years you could probably say, "How many people are contributing more than $7K/year to 401ks?"

The other problem is just a barrier in terms of growth. It's not like the money goes into a 401K and sits there doing nothing. Companies use that money to grow and move the economy.
