Uma Thurman's first film. Quite possibly, one of the worst sports movies of all time. And the "UCC" school out in L.A. with all the guys on roids? A direct spoof at Spoiled Children. Loved it. The coach's pregame speech in the beginning was classic, though.

"God wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. Because that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and f*gg&ts."

No educator could ever possibly say this in 2005 and expect to have a job.

It was in reference to Anthony Michael Hall's high school coach and his pregame pep talk. Paul Gleason is the actor (Breakfast Club principal, police chief in Die Hard). No high school coach could say that today.

The UCC visit he makes in the movie is hilarious. I even think it was the Trojan band in the film that greats him at the airport. It was a shot at SC all the way.

Just a bad movie I seem to want to watch over and over again for some weird reason.
