Oh I'll win 9 to 11. But TEXAS is stacked. I'm definitely improving my squad though. Can't wait to see what new studs want to play for coach Melvin Hawthorne III...I don't know why I made that name up. But he's a winner!

I agreed that a move to the Big 12 is right for Tulsa.
Just waiting on Dre to finalize the move to likely the North division, set up the title game, and send us forward to preseason action!

Schedules are all done, so all were waiting on now is people to set up their recruiting boards and redshirt people they want to redshirt. Everyone has an A+ schedule except our guy playing Wisconsin...he has an A- (I couldn't get it to work out with his Big Ten sked). Anyway, everyone is playing another user at some point. Us in the Big XII will be going to war.

Dynasty advanced to Week One! Everyone has a bye, so let's recruit like a champion today!
By the way, I experienced another infuriating and odd set of glitches in this game. I spent a good deal of time setting up A+ difficulty schedules in my other online dynasty so that each of our players has a truly hard road to go to the national championship. I saved it, even double checked it a few times to make sure I had the correct amount of home and away games. I forward it into Week One and low and behold, EA strikes again! Our schedules got replaced with all sorts of ate up games with sucktastic opponents. Then, another thing I noticed, a buddy of mine has a few four star recruits on his board that literally have a "0" overall rating. Their skills are commensurate with a four star recruit, but their overall rating has a glitch! Lastly, my buddy who just won our first user title in season three has half of his wins and losses taken off his coach profile! While that may not seem like a big deal, I'm sure it messes with his coaching prestige. Although I will say I have three bowl wins, two of them BCS and three straight 10 win seasons as Notre Dame and I am a C+.
Anyway, I'm convinced with all the glitches and bugs I've seen EA just cannot make a good, well made football game anymore. The NCAA franchise, easily my favorite, has been backsliding for years now. I haven't played Madden since probably 2002 so I don't know about it (even though I played the Madden 2013 demo and it seemed pretty cool). It's very disappointing for a company that really should be the best thing out there with their resources and market share and they just...don't give an f. Sad.

Nope, it's not just you. If you see my post a few above yours EA's computer system screwed up the schedules I crafted for my other online dynasty. Well, they did the same exact thing to this one too. Where I did have everyone with 12 games, 6 home...6 away, all with quality opponents generating an A+ schedule for maximum difficulty and strength of schedule...we now have completely F'd ones. The CPU went in and generated schedules featuring some people with less games, games against FCS teams, all sorts of nonsense.
I am so disgusted with EA for both of my dynasties. I have seen so many glitches and bugs in this game, as well as games through the years. It never used to be bad actually in the early 2000's...there was really only issues with trophies sometimes disappearing in the trophy case and issues with gameplay money plays. Ever since they went to online play, all Hell has broken loose on every copy of this game since.
Even worse, they appear to have no one in a quality control and game testing role (or at least extremely incompetent ones) and the patches they issue never really fix sh*t (in most cases, they usually break more than they fix). Good example...they STILL haven't fixed the no huddle offense (it takes easily as long for the play to snap running no huddle as regular) and probably never will.
This schedule stuff, on this dynasty and my other has seriously made me want to chuck this game out in the yard. Does anybody play this year's Madden? Is it any better than this or handled just as egregiously?

I'm using my athlete/QB of the future as a do-it-all guy. Have him as a formation sub in certain shotgun packages to run options/read options/QB powers, where of course he can also pass, and also have him as a formation sub in certain packages to catch passes at the goal line with his 6'4" frame.
Had 105 passing and a score, 105 rushing and a score, and 5 receiving with a score.

Do you run Tulsa's spread, or do you have your own playbook?
I've found that it's TOUGH to run consistently out of the shotgun with our dynasty settings. I use them for my offline dynasty with ND, and get frustrated because I can't run well enough out of the gun unless it's a read option. I like realism, so I get ticked when Theo and Cierre can't put up good numbers haha

I generally simulate defense as well, just to save time. Trying to get games in between class/work doesn't often leave the time necessary to play both sides of the ball.
I use a custom playbook as well. Started with Western Kentucky's playbook, a run-heavy pro-style system, took out several formations to leave the best power-run sets, and added some shotgun formations of my own so I can run under center for a whole game, or run a spread-option for a whole game. So glad they brought custom playbooks back.
