There are a lot of benefits to both teams for this game, as far as having the month off to prepare.
I think that the biggest beneficiary is going to be Everett. He is a RS freshman QB who has only gotten better as the season continued. I don't think that Kelly has even installed the entire offense yet, so whatever else he might come up with for the SC game, I still think that Kelly would have some more stuff to help make it tougher for Bama to prepare.
Besides, no matter what people say about McCarron, he does not have the same ceiling that Golson does so I can honestly say that LSU was his peak and since then he has regressed. I hope that UGA plants him in the ground and mauls him, while Bama still creams UGA just to show how one-dimensional the team really is.
EG will be the difference. Anyone who watch the Aggies and the Tide play KNOWS that Bama struggles with mobile QBs who can throw...especially FRESHMEN QBs.
It should be another classic football game....as long as we can get by USC.
