I'm all for that. This guy is almost forgotten because he is #4 or #5 in the progression but he keeps the defense honest. Weis ought to try to get him TD.Domer95 said:How about a TD or two for Shelton on his last home game
I don't care about the point spread on this one. I would like to see some of the "other guys" on this team get a chance to play. Nice if Shark, Stovall, Quinn got the second half off.BGIF said:ND -34.5
better be a shutout

This is one of those, "you have nothing to gain, but everything to lose" statements. In support of what you have to say, however, I will jump in with you and agree. Go Irish!!!
Wave, It has been my experience that the things I agree with are OBVIOUS or at least should be. And I can usually give you five reasons why the things I disagree with are nonsense. What we give here are opinions and I don't think anybodies credibility is at risk.irishwavend said:Thanks Captain Obvious...while it is almost certain that we will crush the cuse and that McNamara will be rooting for our football team, I don't know that i would put a statement out there that defines everybody's thoughts on your behalf, because if we don't win in the fashion that we should...your credibility could be shot. Syracuse will reemerge after the new coach installs his system. He came into an option team and had to convert to the drop back--no mean feat. they have a great coach and staff and will be back strong.jiggafini19 said:This Syracuse team disappears off of the schedule after this year and that's a shame.
There is some young talent there and once the new staff gets their own ideas and players in place, they will be competitive again.
This should really be more lopsided than the Purdue game was. And it will be much more fun than some previous Senior Days at ND as of late.

While this should be a cake walk for ND I hope to see some of the seniors and second string guys get to play a good part of this game. I am anxious to see Wolke and maybe even Sharpley. If that happens the score may not be what we expect.
