Everyone ready for an advance into Week Four of Offseason Recruiting?

I just bought my first Playstation in years. Can someone answer if I buy the 2013 ncaa version is it this years, if its next do you play with projected recruits ( how does that work), and how does the updates work? Does it update the talent of each player? I have a friend that playes madden and he said it updates his team so I was just wondering how that works.

Unfortunately no, NCAA doesn't live update your roster. NCAA 13 is this year's starting roster...they just title it a year ahead since it covers July 2012 to July 2013. Your players get better or worse depending on hot or cold streaks ( a slight bump in ratings) as well as when they play a rival. Additionally, players skill ratings rise or stay level in the offseason to simulate growth through training. It's not perfect, but it's a pretty solid and very enjoyable game, especially when you're playing with other people. If you get it, jump in with us on our dynasty! It's on harder settings, but it'll put hair on your chest! Lol

EDIT: I now see McManus and Domer using some recruiting time. You guys pulling a Saban?

Also, Alamo was recruiting on the web so he cannot set the "green light", but all his time is used.

I know I'm the guy who was talking about how long the offseason would take, but I'm heading to South Bend tomorrow... We won't be advancing past position changes until Sunday or Monday right? I know there's still recruiting going on, just don't want to miss out on position changes tomorrow or early Sunday.

I'd imagine the post season recruiting will be done by the end of the weekend. I wouldn't worry about missing position changes. Everyone not recruiting is waiting for it.

Uhh...I had a player that was a sure commit that up and completely vanished. hahaha

Had an athlete come in, supposed to be a 72 overall via scouting... turns out, he'd be a 77 overall at QB, RB, TE or WR.

So I got my QB of the future much earlier than I expected. 6'4" with 92 speed and acceleration, 90 carry rating, 80 THP 84 THA. Power-Spread-Option offense, here I come.

Might even play him at WR as a freshman just to put him on the field and so he's not a transfer risk. Love me some tall WRs.

I have a 4 star athlete that comes in with a 72 overall QB...91 speed, 87 accel...red shirt time for my main backup...then redshirt time for the new guy next year.

I did my player cuts on the website...so I am ready to advance.

Alright gentlemen, I have advanced to the next stage...conference realignment. I made a few changes that have come into play in real life. They are as follows:

I created an "East" and "West" division in the Big East with a championship game being held at Heinz Field. I added the following teams per real life moves:

1. Central Florida
2. Cincinnati
3. UConn
4. Louisville
5. South Florida
6. Boise State
7. Houston
8. Memphis
9. San Diego State
10. SMU
11. Temple
12. UMass (not a real move, but they were in the MAC. What's up with that? Plus, I needed a team since Rutgers is leaving to balance the number.)

Big Ten:

1. Maryland
2. Rutgers

Now, this leaves me with two spots in the Big 12 to once again get it back to 12 teams (I'm kinda OCD like that). I did have SMU and Houston in there, but they got stolen by the Big East. I would like to move Rice in there (Texas team, makes sense), and I would love to extend an invite to Tulsa since it also makes great geographical sense and would be AWESOME (Odywon, me and Alamo in the same conference). But, I wanted to ask you first Alamo...what say ye!?"
