I feel like I have heard this Mike Leach abuse narrative before....

People were complaining about Kelly before too. Leach doesn't coddle his players and he's trying to make them tough. The kid has probably gotten away with a lot at Wazzo because he was pretty skilled and Leach wants to play the kids who try. I see no problem with this, Leach was brought in to win which is something that doesn't happen often at Washington state and he's making a culture change.

Wazzo won 9 games in 4 years before Leach, he's got nothing to worry about. It takes more than one year to turn a team around.

As most people have said, none of this is new for Leach. There is a reason they depicted him the way they did at Tech. He has his own "unique" style that certainly isn't for everyone but he knows how to win. If he starts to turn this program around in a year or two everyone will go back to laughing about how "crazy" his gruffness is and say it is just Leach being Leach. Since they suck everyone complains about him going too far.

Yeah, I doubt there is anything to this. Just a butthurt baby crying because he isn't getting his way, saw what went down in Lubbock and is trying to play the same card.

when a new boss comes into any situation, there is always a few rats that need to jump ship.

in his letter he keeps saying "My teammates and I"....where are all his other teammates quitting, and complaining?

"Humbug - let him quit; all the better to decrease the surplus population of self-entitlement players on that team."
