Too hung over to coach today. Tomorrow or Friday sounds good to me. I'm on the West Coast so anytime after 6pm PST is good for me. How's 9pm EST How does tomorrow or Friday sound?

Then the National Championship is set for 9pm EST, 6pm PST on Friday. I'll be sure to log on IE around 8 or 8:30 Friday to make sure you're still good to go, and sign on waiting.

I like a friday night matchup... I'll go out after for celebratory drinks or to drown my sorrow.

Also, this is my first user vs user dynasty game, how does getting the game started work? Whoever is on first waits for the other?

Yes, yes they are. In fact, damn near everything EA has is crap. Unfortunately, they are the only maker of college football games anymore. I was glad to see they lost their monopoly lawsuit over football games as a whole, but they did the smart thing and gave up the rights to college football. The Madden / NFL behemoth is too great an icon and cash machine, and there's only 32 NFL teams to shoot video for when making a game. There's 120 some odd teams in CFB...too much money for a fledgling company to fight EA on.

There are 2 games yet to be played...but since last night was the point that we were originally planning to advance...I have no objections.

Sorry, didn't look. I assumed since we were way passed advance they had been all played; with the exception of KPENN who has been AWOL for some many weeks.

Edit: I also see Dre as commish, at least online. But, you know, it's such a stable game I doubt it's a bug.

I can't wait to get to position changes. I never thought I'd even GET to the National Championship game my first year at Texas. Especially once Ash went out with a season ending injury week 3 or 4.

Playing with McCoy reminds me of playing with Dayne in last years game. I chose Texas because of their awesome defense and ability to play man a lot. Played to my strengths. Time to get that BAD recruiting class into their red-shirts (also red-shirted the previous class, so the roster will get some upgrades)!

How do you guys feel about your programs post year 1?

I'm going to have a strong running game again, even if James White leaves. However, I need to upgrade at QB badly, and my secondary is going to be very young and thin. Need to recruit the defense as a whole and get some help ASAP.
