Just out of curiosity ( pun on the other thread title)...why did you close the betting 1 whole day before the election starts? Why not 1200am 11/6/12 Election Day?

I don't want everyone holding their money till the last second and dropping it on a candidate and expecting a payout that night. If you win it pays out far better than interest anyways. Plus I didn't want to have to update the odds every hour based on who said what today or if someone royally screwed up.

I see a lot of you have been suckered in by the Mainstream (liberal) Media. Two days until you are shocked into reality. Romney will carry Ohio and as such will be POTUS #45. The over sampling of democrats in these national polls has mis-led millions of Americans.

I tried to count the smart things I have ever heard in a sentence with the words "Mainstream Media" in the beginning. Nobody wants to listen to the crybaby who has a scapegoat. The bubble will break today and the GOP will learn that the John Kerry of the right is no better than the John Kerry of the left.


I'm hoping that the GOP wises up and realizes they are blowing elections because they are not appealing to moderates any more and move back to the middle. The gridlock loving fringe of the party is trying its best to hold it to the far right, but they are losing minority voters and young voters with the current platform. A move back to the middle could get people like me to fill out the ballot for them. It also takes ideas to win elections, not flip flops and constantly trying to scare us about the incumbent.
