My defensive mindset doesn't like the fact that ND is becoming a team that is going to score 50 and give up 30. If ND plays a defense that can contain them, they're doomed.

Where is the group that gave up 10 in Ann Arbor?

The opposing group in Ann Arbor played about the worst football they could play for 3.5 Qrts and had terrible play calling.

All I can say is wow, Stovall has really become a player.

its amazing. Stovall's gone from maybe being drafted to being almost a sure 1st day draft pick in 7 games. At this rate, he might be a 1st rounder by seasons end if he has a great combine.

well, they've had 8 and 9 guys in the box all day. I know its BYU, but when you stack the line that much you're running game can't really expect all that much.

I think this kinda reminds me of the Washington game from last season. They were so afraid of the running game b/c of that horrendous run defense they had, they stacked the line all day and Quinn beat them through the air.

ND's averaging 11.5 yds/pass ATTEMPT. If you could run for 11.5 y/rush it'd be silly to pass. Now it's foolish to run.

We need Tenn. to pull it out against 'Bama to help our cause. I wouldn't say front 7, I would say front 4. Most times the linebackers are suspect at best.

anyone else hear them just refer to Zibikowski as a "strong safety"? last I checked he was the free safety (although I think he's more naturall a SS and that's what he'll be playing in the pros). I hate it when the announcers of a game can't get their story straight on a guy's position...

I was refering to his statement made about how close the game got before ND scored. HAHA your a joker too, this is not my first year watching college football, I just expected the D to play better in todays game, just like I did against MSU. I just have to realize that this is one of the worst defenses in the country and one stop a game is got to be good enough for me from here on out.
