I'm going with Bama, 20-6. LSU is way overranked IMO. Even at Death Valley, they'll be fortunate to get these two field goals.

And highly, highly unlikely that LSU would jump ND in the BCS if we win out. Their games against Auburn and especially Towson would have to be taken into account at that point, even if they haven't been up to this point.

Bama is better at every position group besides DL including 10x better at OL & QB IMO.

The only thing IMO LSU has going for them is the bye week and Death Valley.

Exactly. i just don't see what evidence there is for an LSU potential win unless Alabama has major tunrover problems and miscues. LSU cannot move the ball effectively, let alone against Alabama's defense. LSU's defense is also not what it was last year. I think Bama -3 is a great line to bet on this one!

EDIT: I just saw in the paper that the line is is Alabama -9.5...I'd still lay the points!

Every year for the past 5 my Dad and his buddies have gone to an Eagles away game in a different city every year along with a college game in that city/ town on the Saturday of that weekend.

So this weekend these guys (all in their 40's and 50's) are going to do LSU vs Bama on Saturday then Eagles vs Saints on Monday Night Football.

I'm jealous.

I just got a call from my Dad and his buddies in Baton Rouge. Chew on this one for a little while...

Their plan was to tailgate all day and watch this game in a bar because they didn't have tickets. At the tailgate this morning, they saw a stadium employee with a vest on in the parking lot. One guy jokingly approached him and said, "Hey if you can get us in to the game tnoight it's $100 in your pocket."

The guy in the vest turned out to be the supervisor of the stadium crew/ grounds/ cleanup. He took them on their offer and gave them 4 vests and stadium passes. In the press box. All they have to do is empty trash cans once a quarter and this guy is gonna pay the 4 of them on top of it!

I told my Dad I love him but he's a son of a bitch for telling me all this and managing to pull it off. The first thing they are doing when they get home is to frame their stadium passes as "stadium employees." Unreal.
