Haha but to be fair... if there was an archetype for a team we would struggle against this is it. We match up so well against teams like MSU (which includes Stanford this year... lucky for us)... but if there is one thing our defense hasn't been tested by yet it is a vertical passing attack. Marve had some limited success and our CBs missed a lot of tackles on less athletic skill position players than what Miami has. Michigan has horrendous skill position players but we (mostly) covered well thanks to them inexplicably refusing to throw bubble screens against our soft coverage.

I think we win because we'll be more mentally focused + the weather. I think this is the kind of game where if we get up by 14 early then Miami just checks out. 2+ TDs though? Going to be tough....

2 TDs is a lot, but outside FSU, and I'll even say Clemson, the ACC sucks. Miami played GT to over time--a GT team who just got smoked by Mid Tenn St. Miami's D is brutal. I'm gonna say a somewhat high scoring affair. 45-21. You can't pass when you're on the ground. And I agree with you re: the weather--supposed to be a tad chilly.

ACC teams have burned me toooooo many times. I hate the ACC. I'm betting with both hearts this game, hatred of ACC and love of ND.

Gotta ride ND's 3-1 record against the spread this year. And I think Purdue was underrated when ND played them. Liking Purdue +3.5 and probably outright at home against Mich. Ride the bus until it breaks down.

I think we have this one but do you think we can put up more than two touchdowns on Miami? our offense has been very shaky I can see our defense holding but don't know if I can see our offence putting up that much.

I think 10.5 is low. Which would incline me to take Clemson and lose when Clemson wins by 4. ACC.

I thought I was on the train. I went to place a vbet on the 9ers/Bills game and saw I had no vbucks outside of the bank. I was wondering why because I bet ND giving 14.5. I looked, I accidentally bet Miami +14.5. Damn it.
