Great interview. That Indiana game was my first game as a freshmen and I will always remember that moment when Irv carried what seemed like half of the Indiana team into the end zone. We were going crazy up in the stands after that.

Stonebreaker would be great. I'd love to see him and Manti in the same lineup. But then that wouldn't be fair to the other team.

Being a FB was "cool" back then.

Yes it was! When I was a freshman I showed up for the first day of practice and when the coach asked me where I wanted to play i naturally answered "TE or FB" to which he responded " that's great, guards and centers are over there.". Lol.

Great read, theses articles brought back some good memories from childhood.
