What a geek! That is really all I can say! haha! this guy truly believes he is so smart when he doesn't even make a whole helluva lot of sense and doesn't stop to think...g ppl are laughing are my dumbass comments right now. Even Lou Holtz looked at him clueless and said "Mark, no wonder why you went to pitt and played on the line." I know Mark May has been a popular guy in this forum and i really haven't said much until now since i've finally realized it and been able to put a stamp on how dumb he is. It's pretty bad I dedicate this post to Mark May, the dumbest analyst EVER

I was out and could only see the screen, not hear it. However, it looked like they were going to go at it. My $$$ is on Holtz. I SOOOO wanted to see him take Ms. May in a headlock (like he did to the ref) and then spit in his face (like he did to Huntley Bakich), then pick him up and body slam him...point to the camera and say "JOHN SAUNDERS YOU ARE NEXT!!!"

Mark May is TERRIBLE. Say what you want about Trev Alberts, Mark May is just as bad.

I'll tell you who I think is very good in the booth and has found a niche there. Bob Davie. Here is a guy that I couldn't stand from the day he was hired. I've buried my hatchet with this guy. Hearing him during the ND-Purdue and PSU-OSU games, this guy tells it straight up and acts like a professional.

Not a lot of the P word going on at ESPN.

Lou would crush May in a verbal war. Holtz has the knowledge, May is an ass hole who will say anything but pro-Irish comments. I would kill to see Holtz just bitch smack May once.

Could not agree more with you. Davie does call it like it is. I do feel that he still has the love for the DOME. He seems to be enjoying the success of the Irish.

Davie was named Head Coach on Holtz's endorsement, as well as that of the players.

If the administration had any b@lls, they would have gone out and gotten a big time coach for a big time job. Davie should have never been put in that position.

I have tremendous respect for this guy. He is one of the few on the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network that knows what he's talking about. Davie and Holtz vs. Corso and May in a steel cage match. THAT would be worth $50 on PPV.

Jigg - agree totally. Davie is as good as Phil Simms is right now for the NFL.
