Boy, are they talking some mad $hit. Apparently, out here in "Little 10" country, we don't know football.

Yeah, because all of the juggernauts in the Pac 10 have been kicking @ss. Does anyone play defense west of Texas?

Hopefully the SC fans that make the trip to South Bend, who are probably staying in Chicago (barf), can deal with the chilly October weather of the Midwest so their facelifts don't get ruined.

HEY NOW JIGGA......I agree with you MOST of the time, however I've got to step up for my 'peeps' in NYC. I was at ND when the Despise-a-BULLS were in their heyday and the Chicago Domers were INSUFFERABLE and let their homerism blind them to reality (like that "YYYYEESSS" windbag who does White Sox games...).

I do agree with you about LALA Land tho. Any city who leaves games regularly in the 6th inning or 3rd quarter, aren't real fans...At least Chitown and NYC (and Philly, where I'm from and for whom I root for) actually are knowledgable and CARE about their teams and don't go to games for social events.

More than likely the fans that will be coming will be the WEALTHY alums and not the smog-addled jugheads of Compton.

That's the only thing I can find fault with Rockne....why he struck a deal w/ Southern Cal whereas when they play at ND, it's ALWAYS in relatively good weather (as opposed to Nov).....I know Univ of Spoiled Children will never go for it, but if I was KevinW I'd ask to change the schedule and have them come out to ND the weekend before their annual UCLA game...

As a Sox fan, I'd join anyone if they wanted to beat down Ken Harrelson. Worst announcer in baseball. In term of being real fans, all the cities mentioned fit the bill. Impatient, high expectations, great times.

New York is good for a lot of things. One being Isiah Thomas continuing to take the cancer right out of the Bulls. First Jamal Crawford, now Eddy Curry. For a guy that used to kill them as a player, he sure does them favors as a GM. I know some Cub fans that would LOVE to see the Mets or Yankees get Kerry Wood and Corey Patterson. Interested?

SC fans are living it up right now, as they should. Every program has periods of Golden Age. They come and go. SC is back again after some down time. Fact is, other programs are going to step up that much more. UCLA has 20 commits already. When these guys start to turn pro, turnover is going to hit them. They'll still be good, but not this good.

I hate the Lakers. Another ESPN favorite.

Cubs games are the biggest social events in sports. Bulls games have become this way too.
