I just want people to read the following points to see if they agree or disagree.
1. Now that Shelton is 100% the deep threat will be there. It takes both a QB and a receiver to establish this. They must have confidence in one another and be on the same page, and we all know what Brady and Matt did last year.
2. He is reading through his progressions extremely well, you can see how if his #1 or #2 isn't open it is option #3.
3. He has only had the playbook for 9 months now gentlemen. He is still learning a new offense and how his coach calls a game. Ask Tom Brady how important it is for a QB and his coach to be on the same page, I think it worked out rather well.
4. After getting very little coaching on technique and scheme the last two years it was necessary for Charlie to break him down and build him back up. This is going to be a long process but come on the guy has a ton of talent and it is on display.
5. When he was carving up Pitt and was carving up the Michigan on the first drive there probably wasn't a lot of you being real critical of him.
6. 2-0, PERIOD!
Last but not least, I am not saying as fans that you can not be critical. There is some great insight on here and it is true that Brady has not exactly been stellar on the deep balls. I do not think he is Heisman material, YET, but he will be. I think Brady will tell you that.
But you have to know that his teammates have seen him take an a@@ wooping over the last two years. Getting off the ground repeatly, but staying in. They believe in him, his toughness, his maturity, and most of all the fact that HE IS THEIR LEADER.
LIFES A GAME OF INCHES.............
'IT'S THE GUY SITTING NEXT TO YOU, LOOK INTO HIS EYES, I THINK YOU GOING TO SEE A GUY WHO WILL GO THAT INCH FOR YA'(insert Paccino's voice)
Even I have to admitt that was a pretty cool speach!
