Last night on ESPN News they had a 1-1/2 hour preview with Corso, Herbie, Alberts, & Fowler. Did anyone catch anything they said about Notre Dame. I turned it on at the very end and am curious. Thanks!

Once again, a big old "Kiss my ass" to the good folks at ESPN. Way to go jerk offs. You had a chance to jump on the bandwagon early, and you blew it. It will make it even sweeter when ND wins the majority of their games this year and once again you guys will say how talented this ND team is (just like in 02).

Herbstreit is objective and has much more knowledge than Corso. That guy has really aged and it shows. He was good a few years ago, now he's just an old clown that acts like a nut for a few hours Saturday morning.

I'd like to see him replaced soon, not for his ND comments. He's entitled to his opinion and if he's right, so be it. I wouldn't bet money on an 0-6 start, but whatever. Someone else should go along better with Fowler and Herbstreit.

I remember during the 8-0 start in 2002, Corso would always pick the team that ND was facing and ND would win. It wasn't only ND games he was wrong, it was EVERY team that he picked. While I was watching COLLEGE GAME DAY, I would pray that Corso would pick ND's opponent. Dude is a jinx. Corso said we will go 0-6? Great!!!!

I remember Corso picked both FSU and Air Force to beat us in 2002. I found it quite humerous myself about ND could start 0-6....Lil John "WHAT!!" I have been a big fan of GameDay for the last few years. However, I think Corso should keep the mascots off his head because the lack of oxygen is starting to show with a comment like that. And, Vince Young as the Heisman winner.....not so fast my friend. Young needs to prove he can pass, Tressel and his LB will be on him like you know what. Mark May saying Oklahoma has no playmakers.....hey dumbass, Adrian Peterson!! Fowler and Herbstreit might be the only two guys that might get it.

Fowler and Herbstreit are great. They are the best in the business. Corso is comical but a complete idiot. Mark May and Trev Albert are so arrogant - undeservedly so - and usually so wrong.

Why waste your time even looking at Corso. He's a loser and always has been and now he is a has been loser. Fowler is the essence of the Peter principle. He started out doing high school reviews and has risen through his incompetence to a position of importance. Sadly that does not increase his intelligence quotient. Herbstreit at least has a background with some credibility.

You are right, Vitale is a Domer and has stated that ND is on the rise and to watch out for them in the near future. He stated that he liked C-Dub and that he will make a huge impact on the school (sorry, I do not when he said it, but they were talking to him on one of the ESPN shows).

Did Vitale have 2 daughters that went to ND or 1?

That's cool. I actually like Dick Vitale despite how annoying he is sometimes, just b/c I was a senior at Saint Joe's the year they went undefeated in the regular season and got to the Elite 8. He was the only major sportscaster who gave us any credit or any chance against the big schools like Wake and Oklahoma State. (Well, now that I think about it I'm pretty sure Jack Ramsey did too, but he's more than a bit biased...) I know its just b/c he loves all little schools, not to mention kids who stay in school until their senior year as Jameer Nelson did, but still, we all appreciated that someone on ESPN had our back.
