Let me know if I am out of line here, I bet Pittsburgh fans think they are going to out number ND fans. I bet it is going to be 65%ND-35%PITT or 60-40. What do you guys think?

50%/50% at BEST for ND. While ND does have a VERY SOLID fan and alumni base in Western PA, 3 Rivers area, Pitt is a public school with a large alum base and Pittsburghers tend to stay in the area they were born and I don't see too many Pitt fans/alum giving up these tix, esp. since they have a ranked team AND it's Wanny's first game

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, they ALL THINK that they're gonig to open a can of whoop ass on us....which they're going to go home very unhappy.

Should be alot of Irish fans there. ND fans always travel real well, i remember watching the ND Tennesse game last year, and there was alot of Irish fans in the stands...

I was at the game in Knoxville, Tennessee and you are right, there were alot of ND fans there (just not in my section where it was myself, father, and brother amongst a sea of orange and white). But before the game, you could not walk 10 feet without seeing ND faithful indulging in cold beverages and giving you a high five and shouting GO IRISH!!!! We are everywhere. I think that the Pitt game will be about 60/40 Pitt to ND fans. If this is the case, then there will be 60 % of the people going home sad.

i will happily be one of the nd fans there. And since we're arriving at 10am for GAMEDAY, i will probably be one of the more vocal fans - great seats too! 40yrd line ND side - 20 rows up!

Driving back from South Bend last Sunday I stopped off in Erie PA and on the front page of the Sports Sections was a full page article on Notre Dame and C-Dub. There will be an Irish fan base at this game.

And again I repeat to the Pitt fan base who are so excited about Wanny, he got fired twice for have NO SUCCESS ...and run out of Chicago. Lot's of Luck.
